Set in the Stone Age town of Bedrock, The Flintstones was an adult oriented cartoon that ran from 1960 to 1966. The cartoon dealt with the life of Fred Flintstone - a middle class working man -, his family, and his friends and next door neighbors, the Rubbles. Besides Fred, other characters are his wife Wilma and daughter Pebbles, his neighbor Barney Rubble, Barney's wife Betty and their son Bamm-Bamm.
