Our Lady of Guadalupe II, also called the Virgin of Guadalupe or Nuestra Senora de Guadalupe is a 16th century Roman Catholic Mexican icon depicting an apparition of the Virgin Mary. The “Lady from Heaven” is said to have appeared before a humble Native American at Tepeyac, a hill northwest of what is now Mexico City. According to the testimony, she identified herself as the ‘Ever Virgin Holy Mary, Mother of the True God for whom those live, the Creator of all things’. She is Mexico's most beloved religious and cultural image and she is depicted here in four assorted 10w x 11h” black framed encasements.
