The Georgia Bulldogs are officially recognized as having two national championship seasons in football: 1942 and 1980. In addition, the Dawgs were recognized as national champions in various polls in 1927, 1946 and 1968. Furthermore, the Bulldogs have won 12 SEC championships.

The men's and women's tennis teams are among the best in the nation. Between them, the tennis squads have won 9 national championships and 31 SEC titles.
In all, Georgia has won 32 national championships and 125 SEC championships in various sports.
The design of the Georgia Bulldogs Fleece: Framed Panel consists of the University's logos, the team's G logo, and the school mascot Uga the English Bulldog over a red background within a black frame. Each panel measures 60" wide by 50" long.
