Circles Document is a classic "Eames" decorator fabric. The Circles design originated as one of the Eames's entries into a textile competition held by the Museum of Modern Art in 1947. This fantastic fabric has a vibrant retro design of x's, t's, circles and dots within larger circles. The large outlined circles measure about 1 1/2" in diameter, while the smaller solid circles measure approximately 1 1/8" in diameter. The circles are somewhat irregularly shaped and are not perfectly circular which contributes to the retro look. The fabulous colors in Circles Document include red and black over a beige background.
