Top Three Fabric Ornament How-Tos

 J&O Christmas Tree Decorations

The holidays are a time of tradition. Every year, my family and I come together to make Christmas ornaments. The week before December 25th we order Christmas novelty fabric, pop in the Nutcracker Suite, and make our own ornaments that we put on the tree to represent us that year. In that spirit, I compiled the top three fabric ornament how-tos for our J&O customers to check out. While my family and I celebrate Christmas, these ornaments would be perfect to personalize for any holiday that you and yours enjoy.

#1: Martha Stewart Fabric Balls

Oh, Martha how we love you. It seems that lovely woman never runs out of ideas like this for the holiday season. By taking really basic materials and putting them together in a simple but elegant way, it is so easy to make something beautiful for your home that won’t cut into your gift fund. You can even embellish decorations with leftover wrapping paper if inspiration strikes.

#2: Crap I’ve Made No- Sew Quilted Ball Ornaments

The first thing that drew me into this project was the title of the blog. Then I saw how awesome their crafts are and I was hooked. Case and point: these no- sew quilted ornaments. These baubles are the perfect balance between funky and trendy and leave a lot of room for personal touches. Personally, I would love to see these ornaments to live up to their name and decked out with some colorful quilted fabric.

#3: Kristopher K No- Sew Christmas Ornament

This is the simplest (and arguably the cutest) of our top three. If you want to let a little one make their own ornament this is the one we recommend letting them try. It is simple, easy to oversee, and the results are always adorable. Plus, it is a no-sew so you don’t have to worry about your little one having to use a needle and thread!
