Top 10 Quilting Disasters Part 1

Quilting Hall of Shame

What defines a great quilt in your eyes? Would you say that a harmonizing pattern is essential? Would matching yet contrasting colors be the hallmark of an excellent quilt. How about the stitchwork and other technical elements? What if the quilt you are viewing displays few or none of those elements? J&O Fabric store is showcasing what you are left with; Top 10 Quilting Disasters (part 1):

10. The Gold Blob Quilt

9. The Waaaaaay Too Much Going On Quilt

8. The Freecell Quilt

7. The Crazy Lady Quilt

6. The Scrunched Quilt

5. The Ridiculous Turkey Quilt

4. The Black Hole Quilt

(“What’s the problem with this quilt” you say? Besides looking as though a few fabric threw up on each other, check out that square on the right edge toward the middle. It is literally cuking in the rest of the quilt! In a few months nothing will be left except for that one square!)

3. The Quilt Without Hope Quilt

2. The Corpse of a Former Quilt Quilt

(Not to be mean but this poor quilt looks a bit like a dessicated mummy. What could possibly be worse?)

1. The Chicken With Lips Quilt

(“Now hold on just a minute!”, you say as you wag your finger admonishingly at me. “That is a rather fine looking quilt”. Yet as you chide me I laugh a mocking laugh because you cannot see what I can! Take a look to see the pouty, obviously collagen-injected lips of this chicken!)
