Take It Up A Notch With This Fabric Takeout Box

Sometimes we all crave a simple craft, so we walked away from the sewing machine for this one! Right now you must be racking your brain in an attempt to figure out what possible uses exist for a designer takeout box (you are the designer). When I found this craft, I was baffled, and yet here are some actual uses for it! What are you waiting for? Get some fabulous fabric and create your own array for the table!

Uses:
• Festive or themed table décor
• Gift boxes
• Party favors
• A more elegant Asian inspired dinner party
• Anything else one can imagine!

You will need:
• Any size takeout box (if you are a true crafting ninja, you may opt to draw yours on cardboard and fold it)
• Make sure the takeout box is not waxed and definitely not used. Plain cardstock works best for this project. If your box is not white, you run the risk of the base color bleeding through—consider yourself warned!

What to do:
• While there are a plethora of tedious tutorials for fabric boxes out there, my approach is almost effortless.
• Literally just unfold the box, cover each section with desired fabric and cut. Leave enough fabric to wrap around each edge and glue.
• Glue all the fabric pieces with a sturdy fabric adhesive and refold box
• That is it! Because this craft is so fast, you can make an entire complimentary set and spend the majority of your time garnishing them with bows, fabric flowers or other adorable items!

Ribbons work well
