Back in the 80’s Punk Rock street fashions were viewed as an expression of personal style and freedom by some, and a desperate cry for attention by others. With their combination of mixed colors, prints, ripped shirts, torn jeans, colorful hair and never ending body adornment, the look was more ‘anything goes’ than ‘haute couture’. It was associated with the rebels of society, social misfits and main stream outcasts.
