January 5th will be the day that a number of retired ballplayers will remember as much as any other: it will be the day when the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown will announce the 2011 class of inductees. The induction ceremony will be held at Cooperstown on July 24, 2011. A number of the biggest names on the ballot have a very real chance of getting into the Hall this year, including quite a few stars of recent memory. In this blog we’ll highlight a few of the former stars that could be elected to the 2011 Hall of Fame class followed by the fabrics of the teams they are most associated with (if available):

Phillies Start National League Championship Series

Located right outside of Philadelphia, PA I guess you could say that most of the J&O Fabric team is excited about the Phillies win. While watching the game on Thursday afternoon few noticed the on camera action between Cole Hamels and a member of the Phillies staff as he whispered something to Cole in the dug-out. Wife Heidi was in labor as Hamels left the field and raced to the hospital in a police cruiser to be at her side.

Cole will join his fellow team mates for the National League Championship against the Dodgers now that wife and son Caleb are healthy in Philadelphia.
