With the harvest season underway, thoughts surrounding the upcoming winter months start creeping into our minds. Like the little foresters from the animal kingdom, we hunt, gather and stock pile goods and resources to carry us through those blustery days and never ending nights. Even out west, where the sun lingers just a little bit longer, farmers chuck corn stalks and bale hay to ensure enough heat and feed for their livestock as Mother Nature prepares the Earth for its ritual cleansing.
