What Do Colors Say About You?

Colors and Cultures Graphic

What do the colors you choose say about you? In many cultures across the globe colors are elements of communication as much as they are of aesthetics. While certain colors represent the same concept to cultures separated by vast distances, often the same color can have contrary significances across cultural boundaries.

For instance, in the United States the color red often represents anger. Think of the expression “to see red”. In South America red can be used to suggest success. Yet, in both the United States and Japan red can express passion.
