Anyone can buy the black plastic goodie bags from the supermarket to give out candy. Creating these little bags is not only fast and easy, it is a simple way to give people a way to remember your amazing Halloween party!
What you will need:
- Felt
- Decorative fabric
- Scissors
- Sewing machine/ needle
- Thread
- Ribbon (or other desired accents)
Step 1: On your decorative fabric, mark the length and height that you want your bag to be.
Step 2: Outline the fabric so that you can see just how big your bag is going to be. Also, keep in mind when you are cutting your fabric that you are going to have to repeat these steps (1-3) to cut out the piece of fabric that will be the other side of the bag.
Step 3: Cut out your piece of decorative fabric. Then repeat steps 1 through three to make the other piece of fabric requited to sew the bag.
Step 4: Draw in felt the design that you want to put on your completed bag.
Step 5: After cutting it out, sew it to one of the pieces of decorative fabric that you have measured and cut.
Step 6: Line up your two pieces of decorative fabric so that the finished sides of the fabric are facing each other.
Step 7: Sew three out of the four sides of the bag together by hand or using a sewing machine.
Step 8: Stuff your completed bag with goodies!
