The photo above shows a mix of ribbon trim and fabric buttons. While the buttons work best when sewn on, the ribbon can be added with a good fabric adhesive or hot glue.

  1. Fabric buttons. Simple to make and cute to attach to solid color fabric curtains!
  2. Ribbon. A little fusible webbing is like a magic wand when working with ribbon! Create a cute and colorful trim to brighten up plain Jane curtains.
  3. Fabric cut-outs. Cut out scraps of other fabrics and use fusible webbing to create your own design! Our NFL fabrics are great for this project!
  4. Fabric flowers. These are a bit more time consuming, but worth the work! Attaching fabric flowers to curtains adds a whimsical and magical feel to any little girl’s room! There is just something special about the 3D flower effect.
  5. Pom poms. Like the fabric flower, poms are 3D and add a flair of fun to an otherwise drab drape! The plus: you can spend quality time with your child making the pom poms!
