As our Facebook Fan page keeps growing, more and more of our crafty customers are showing off their cool creations for our J&O Fabric Store family and community to view, share, and comment on. One such fan is fellow Facebook page holder, Gemma Payne from the UK.
Gemma showcased one of her cute little ‘Cuddle Me Baby Stegasaurus’ on our J&O Fabrics Facebook page and we liked it so much, we wanted to know a little bit more about her and her hobby. Turns out, Gemma not only creates for family and friends, but has her own Etsy, Folksy, and Facebook pages showcasing her cool crafts too. Featuring Featuring a host of tutorials, hand crafted items, and her own personal ‘favorites’ section, Ginny had this to say about her journey into DIY crafting madness …
My name is Gemma Payne and I sew and sell under the name Molly Moo and Jessica too. I posted a photo of this steggie on your facebook page and you very kindly asked me to contact you with some more information as you would like to include it on one of your blogs.
I’m a UK based stay at home mum of 2 girls, Jessic who is 5 and Molly who is 2. I’ve always sewn but it was after being made redundant when 5 months pregnant with my youngest that I thought that I might try to make some money out of it and so Molly Moo and Jessica too was born. I make a variety of things including soft toys, quilts and cushions – whatever takes my fancy and/or I’m asked to sew! The stegosauruses have been the most popular item I’ve ever made and I came across the wonderful world of J and O fabrics after I was asked to source some blue comic book fabric for one. My customer loved it and I got an order for another one the same day I posted it on my facebook page – so thank you very much!
This little steggie was a joy to make and I know he will be a joy to own.
Made from a gorgeous retro curtain in earthy mustard tones with pale peach felt for his spikes he likes to stand out from the crowd – or is it herd?
This one of a kind Steggie has no removable bits and his eyes are sewn on.

He measures approximately 33 cm (13 inches) wide and 20 cm (8 inches) tall.
