Recently we posted a blog featuring the fun novelty cupcake print suit worn by none other than Hip Hop artist Snoop Dogg in Katy Perry’s ‘California Girls’ video . Much to our surprise, we didn’t need to look all the way to California for cool use of such a tasty pastry print. Enter in, Ms Julie Zea, one of our fabulous facebook fans and J&O customer.
Ms. Zea posted this pic of her and her fiance in cute cupcake / luau outfits for a 50th birthday / 30th year anniversary party for her soon to be mother-in-law two summers ago. Her fiance’s siblings and her put together the surprise party for their parents and wanted to be very festive. They made the inviations look like cupcakes and had all kinds of themed decorations everywhere. Since the couple are known to have a costume party for every occasion, this was not going to be any different. A fun time was had by all, and their matching outfits were certainly a hit!
