There is not a day that goes by that someone does not call in, fax in, email in or order in, for some of our NFL team fabric. Whether it is cotton, vinyl, flannel or fleece, there is an idea waiting to be crafted, and just any old fabric wont do. From warm no-sew throws and quilts for loved ones overseas, to Super Bowl Sunday table spreads and cute team themed gifts, the stretch of the imagination is as long as a football field and many more times creative.
It is because of this, that in the beginning of January, the creative marketing team at J&O; Fabrics decided to keep the momentum of giving away free money going by running our second fabric craft contest in honor of all our NFL football players and fans throughout the U.S. and abroad. On January 4th, J&O; Fabrics kicked off its ‘Coolest Handmade NFL Craft Contest’, and to the surprize of our staff, the entrees started pouring in faster than we could record. At the end of the 3 1/2 week run, we had over 80 contestants, a wall full of cool NFL craft ideas, and 1 grand prize winner.
To all those who shared your talent and crafts with us to make our contest the success that it was, we thank you. We could not have done it without you. To all those who voted and gave our contestants a run for their money, we applaud you. And to all those who submitted, but did not win, we have one more poll left.
Since we are crafters and NFL fans too, we had our own Top 10 list of favorites that we felt were worth showcasing as well. And since we all have our own take on what “cool” is, we combined the ones each of us had on our individual lists to create the final Top 10 you see here.
