You will need:
• Fabric. For this project, the recipe is simple: Ten 10” squares, fused in pairs, cut into 1 ½ squares will yield 25 feet of garland.
• Fusible webbing
• Scissors
What to do:
• Cut the fabric into 10” squares, make 10 of these.
• Cut the fusible webbing into 5 squares just under 10”, so they can hide between pieces of fabric.
• Lay 5 pieces of fabric facedown and place fusing on top of each. Close each with another square of fabric.
• Trim edges and cut 6 1 1/2” strips
• Cut the strips into 1 ½” squares
• Now stitch together, on point, with a ½” allowance at the end
• 7 squares yield about 1 foot of garland

The finished product looks great on a variety of holiday items, like the tin pictured above (photo by Lazy Girl Designs).
You can finish off with some festive ribbon, securing with fabric clue or pins. Share your results on J&O Fabrics Facebook page!
