We say, “Pshawww,” go ahead and make your NFL fabric-inspired fan flags. You can gear up for Game Day whether there’s a full season or not and from the comfort of your own couch. We carry numerous NFL-licensed fabrics to match your enthusiasm all-year round.

For the Indoor FAN-atic

There is no end to the themed room you can create around your favorite NFL team. Fans in the past have made everything from decorative pillows to entire bedding collections. We like to take the game out of the bedroom and onto the couch with our favorite bed rest pillow.

Making a bed rest pillow is an easy project that takes about an hour. These pillows also make great floor pillows for the kids while they watch the game. Compared to buying the pillow in a store, this is a very inexpensive project.

Follow these simple instructions on “How to Sew a Bed Rest Pillow” here.

For the Fashion Forward FAN-atic

What makes a fashion statement for female fans of all ages that’s not a cheerleader’s outfit? Give up?

SCRUNCHIES!! Making a scrunchie is as simple as making a headband, only with elastic. Gather these materials:

  • 22″ by 6″ of your favorite NFL fabric
  • 8″ of 1/4″ wide elastic

Then follow these 9 easy steps.

  1. On one of the 6″ wide ends, press under 1/2″, wrong sides together, to form a crease that can be followed later.
  2. Fold the fabric in half matching the 22″ sides, right sides together, unfolding the crease that you pressed.
  3. Using a 1/2″ seam allowance, stitch the unpressed 6″ edge and the 22″ edge.
  4. Attach the elastic to the seamed 6″ edge at the seam line as shown in the photo, stitching back and forth over the elastic for a secure hold.
  5. Hold the elastic in one hand, or safety pin it to a secure surface (such as an ironing pad) and turn the fabric right sides out.
  6. Secure the elastic to the seamed end, where your other elastic end is, as shown in the photo.
  7. Straighten the fabric to make sure the seam is in the same position all the way around the scrunchie and refold under the 1/2″ that you pressed earlier.
  8. Insert the seamed end into the pressed end and pin.
  9. Top stitch through all the layers to secure the ends and form the scrunchie.
