Supplies
Brown Craft Felt for Doughnut
Craft Felt for Icing
Polyfill
Embroidery Floss
Needle
Scissors
Pen
Paper
Step 1: With a pen and paper draw a circle, 3 1/2” in diameter and cut out. Then, cut out a 1 1/2” diameter circle from the center of the circle to create the doughnut pattern. Make two of these patterns. Take scissors and make a wavy edge on the second doughnut pattern for the icing.
Step 2: Now pin the doughnut pattern to the felt for cutting, or you may trace the pattern onto the felt, whichever is easier for you!
Step 3: Cut out 2 brown craft felt doughnut pieces and 1 piece of craft felt icing.
Step 4. Take the front of the doughnut and the icing and blanket stitch around the center opening of the doughnut.

Step 5: Now blanket stitch the outside edge of the icing to the brown doughnut. If you want to add sprinkles you can cut small pieces of felt and stitch these to the icing, or sew on bugle and seed beads.
Step 6: It’s time to attach the back of the doughnut. Following your previous stitches, in the center opening of the doughnut, blanket stitch the back of the doughnut to the top and icing.
Step 7: Blanket stitch the outer perimeter of the doughnut, leaving a small opening.

Step 8: Stuff doughnut with polyfill. A pencil might come in handy for pushing the stuffing into the center edges of the doughnut.
Step 9: Continue to blanket stitch the opening closed and you’re finished!
