Made possible with fabric
You will need:
• Fabric (measure the area where you would like the fabric, and add a ½ inch to each side)
• Fabric adhesive or hot glue
• Scissors, pinking shears or rotary cutter
• Pro-tip: If you prefer perfect edges, hem the sections of fabric all the way around prior to gluing them to the shelf
Recommendation: City Dresses Allover fabric available at J&O Fabrics
What to do:
• Carefully cut each piece of fabric to size. For added interest and texture, use a different fabric design for each cubbyhole!
• If you are using hot glue, be careful not to over-do it! Trace a thin line of glue around the outer edging, and repeat every 3 inches or so all the way into the center. Too much glue will leave lumps and perhaps even bleed through your fabric!
• If using fabric adhesive, paint on a thin layer over most of the backside of the fabric and place over shelf. Rub fabric gently to ensure a sturdy hold.
