During the holiday season, it is fun to change-up regular scarves with something a bit more Christmas-y (Yes, I believe that is the appropriate word as I hear it so often!). This is a simple way to craft holiday scarves using existing scarves as a pattern! Begin by browsing our huge selection of holiday fabrics and get ready to dazzle! Not convinced? Imagine the improved holiday photos this year.

Holiday scarves are a great gift idea!
You will need:
- A scarf for a pattern. Find one that is a width and length that you love, and trace it onto a newspaper.
- Fabric. Choose a few different Christmas fabrics from your friends at J&O–you will be surprised at our versatile selection! (We even have the Grinch!).
- Scissors
- Sewing machine or mad hand skills and patience
- Embellishments, if desired.

What to do:
- Turn the holiday fabric upside down and trace the pattern onto the backside lightly with a pencil. You will need 2 identical pieces.
- Cut out carefully to avoid fraying.
- Sew the pieces together carefully, turning when finished. If desired, add a zigzag stitch around the entire length for more pizzazz.
- To add fringe, measure about 4 inches from each end, and cut a piece every ½ inch

Fleece fabric is a soft option that can be decorated in many ways
