Cover old photo frames with fabric and fall in love with them all over again!
To bring new life and appeal to an old frame, simply find a fabric and cut it slightly larger than the frame. You want enough fabric to wrap around the sides, but not so much that it will bunch and become difficult to work with. Wrap the fabric around the frame, mark and cut.
Next, spread fabric glue onto the surface of the frame. If you want to change fabrics often, you may skip this step and just wrap the frame with fabric, securing on the back.
Press the fabric over the glued frame, pressing gently until hold is firm.
Pull the excess fabric around to the back of the frame, covering the sides. Once the glue is fully dry, cut an X into the fabric where the photo is to be placed. Smooth the fabric through the window of the frame to the back and secure with glue or staples, depending on if you chose to use glue!
