You will need:
• Fabric. You could use a uniform fabric, or a different one for each hanger! Pro-tip: Use a silk fabric for a luxury feel.
• Wadding (90cm wide)
• Wooden hanger
• Needle and thread (or machine)
• Sturdy glue
• Scissors
Mix and match for max appeal
Add fabric flowers, ribbon or tie cute bows for added appeal if you are making gifts
What to do:
• First cut your fabric into strips about 85cm long by 15cm wide. Set aside.
• Cut wadding into strips 180cm long by 6cm wide
• Glue the wadding around the hanger (or staple if you prefer)
• Wrap the hanger completely, so that it is like a pillow
• Fold fabric in half (inside out) and sew into a loop that will slide onto hanger
• Make a row of little running stitches 5mm from the folded edge. Do this along the open edges also, starting at one side and ending in center
• Slip onto hanger and then sew closed!
• Now you are free to embellish with flowers and anything else under the sun!
