Children love to write their names on things, and to see their names permanently emblazoned is even better! Check out these adorable fabric and Mod Podge ornaments for the tree! In just 5 simple steps, you can recreate your own versions with the holiday fabrics of your choice! Just follow the simple instructions below and get crafting today!

You will need:
- Festive holiday fabric from your friends at J&O
- Wooden ornaments (these can be found pretty much anywhere, from your local craft store to Walmart for just a few cents each).
- Craft paint
- Mod Podge and various sized foam brushes
- Bright ribbon
- Vinyl lettering if you do not want to paint names
- Embellishments like bells, holiday shapes and glitter

What to do:
- Begin by cutting out your holiday fabric to cover the wooden ornaments. Take your time to ensure the edges do not fray
- Paint the ornament with Mod Podge and press the fabric onto it firmly.
- Allow to dry completely
- If you did not cut out any holes prior, use an exacto knife to do so now.
- If you want a sparkly ornament, paint over the top of the fabric with a glittery Mod Podge. This will also ensure that the edges lay smooth! It also gives the illusion of snowflakes.
- Now you may add the children’s names and other embellishments to the ornament
- Finish off with a ribbon to hang from the tree! The kiddos will look forward to finding their special ornament each year and dangling it from the Christmas tree!

Thank you for your inquiry Diane. Unfortunately we scone the internet for craft articles to feature or products to share, we are simply doing that…sharing information. Since we specialize in fabric textiles, our expertise surrounding how to apply or remove Mod Podge for the ornament project is limited but here is a link that might be helpful. Good luck.
