These fabric tissue box covers are simple to craft and make great gift ideas for small functions.
You will need:
- Decorative (or plain) fabrics. Mix and match and make one for each room!
- Coordinating or contrasting threads
- 3” x 5” tissue packet
What to do:
- To assemble the tissue packet cover, cut fabric as follows: Cut three 3 ½ x 5 ½” rectangles
- Place the right sides of the fabric up and fold one of the long sides under 1 ½ and press neatly. Repeat with the second rectangle.
- Next, face the right sides down and overlap the folded edges of the rectangles ½”.
- Now place the 3rd rectangle piece right side up and lay over existing pieces. When all of the right sides are together, pin it. (Using actual pins, not Pintrest).
- Sew carefully using a ¼” allowance. Turn right side out when finished and insert tissue!
