Want to makeover your cabinet panels with fabric? It is truly easy and rewarding! Just follow the steps below:
- Measure the fabric to ensure there will be enough overlap to staple it to the back side of the cabinet door.
- Pull the fabric over the door until it is taut, and secure with a staple gun.
- You may wish to cover the exterior door with glass, if there is not some already, in order to protect the fabric.
- You may also opt to use a fabric adhesive, though using a staple gun will make it easier to change the fabric in the future.
- Pro-tip: You can use more than one style of fabric! For example: use contrasting yet coordinating fabrics on each door panel to add interest.

Using liquid starch also works (on walls too). Just a bit messy-soak fabric in starch,press on wall and smooth with hands or large smooth sponge. To remove-spray lightly with water and gently pull off off brand. Cheep starches do not work as well. ARCO is one of the best. Don’t know if spray starch works very well . After removing, wash the walls a couple of times with
clear water. Then there is no residue remaining.
