What to do:

•  Trace onto the paper side of your fusible webbing and cut out—cut just OUTSIDE of the line rather than directly on it, leaving a bit extra
•  Place webbing side down onto the wrong side of your fabric lining
•  Fuse together with an iron
•  Use your ruler and fabric marker (or invisible ink) to draw a line 3/8” over the top of the case for a hem, then cut out
•  Remove paper backing from your lining and fold the hem down across the top, securing with a pin
•  Place webbing side down onto the wrong side of your felt or wool fabric. Line up the folded lining edge with a straight cut raw edge of your fabric and fuse together with an iron
•  Trim edges and spritz with water, then iron again to really steam it together
•  Place rickrack along one edge of the lining to the halfway point, allowing points to extend past the edge. Fold in, pin, and straight stitch to secure
•  Fold your case with the rickrack stuffed between the front and back, pin and stitch following your previous line

For the leaf, flower and caterpillar:
•  Trace the leaf from the pattern onto your fabric of choice and cut out (use the reversed image!)
•  Stitch it to your case, or use a fabric with paper backing and fuse with iron. You may use a fabric adhesive if your fabric is lightweight
•  A machine stitch around the leaf adds more detail and looks great. Use stitching to add veins to your leaf
•  Do the same for the flower and caterpillar
