Cool Crafts for Sporty Feet

Sporty feet are busy feet, especially when it comes to kids and sports. They do more than carry their owners from place to place; they score goals, run passes and jump for that 3-pointer. That said, the feet belonging to sports nuts young and old need a little extra love. Here’s a few ideas for crafts to keep your feet (and you) happy.

Sport shoe deodorizers. Sweaty feet stink- especially those belonging to teenage boys. These nifty little things are fabric bags stuffed with cat litter.  You can even use an old sock and tie a knot in the end (just make sure that doesn’t stink too!)

2. Ice paks. Feet can get very banged up in sports, especially football and soccer. Having a homemade icepak can make it that much better. I like to use easily washable fabrics such as terry cloth and poodle chenille. Here’s a cute pink one.

3. Shoe bag. Want to keep the filthy soccer shoes off the street clothes? Why not make a shoe bag? A simple drawstring bag will go a long way to keep things organized. Just make sure it’s made of a sturdy and washable fabric like canvas. This picture has dress shoes in a bag, but you get the idea.

So there’s 3 ways to help keep sporty feet happy. Stay tuned for more ideas!
