When the final buzzer rang at the end of the fourth quarter at AT&T Stadium last night, it was the Connecticut Huskies 60-Kentucky Wildcats 54, a win that would earn UCONN’s fourth NCAA title and Connecticut’s  Shabazz Napier, his second All-American title. In a game featuring the highest combined seeds in the history of the national championship game, the Wildcats were looking for their ninth NCAA title, instead they lost for the fourth time. UConn is now 4-0 in championship games.

So what’s next for the two teams who made Monday night a highlight for many basketball and college fans alike? I suppose after all the celebrations for UConn and tlc (tender loving care) for Kentucky, it’s back to the courts. As for us, our Huskies and Wildcat team fabrics continue to remain in demand no matter who won or loss. For our collegiate fans, there will always be a quilt, a craft, or a special hand made team themed gift to make.  From the NCAA Division I teams to the Division III and from fleece to cotton, finding fabric to rep your team has never been so easy! Congrats UCONN. Looking forward to the fun and Madness of March next year!
