Dear Netfah,
I just started making gift boxes out of wood for friends and family and I was curious as to what kind of fabric would be best for lining them. I want something lightweight, pliable, adhesiable, and with an assortment of designs and prints available. Any suggestions?

Dear Mary T.
There is something about gift boxes, especially the handmade wooden ones. Seems they start out as a gift for one individual and slowly become an heirloom for generations to come. Filled with memories and all the special little things in life. For a special touch to your custom made crafts, try novelty cotton fabrics. Available in an assortment of nostalgic and unique themes, the material is usually made of a 100% cotton shirting weight fabric that is easy to glue, staple, and mold to the contour of your box.
