Black Watch Cotton Dress Plaid

Black Watch Dress Plaid is a wonderful dress fabric inspired by the tartan, or plaid pattern, of the famous Black Watch, 3rd Battalion, Royal Regiment of Scotland (3 SCOTS), an infantry battalion of the British Army.

Formed in 1739, The Black Watch played a prominent role in most if not all of the British Empire's conflicts.

The design of Black Watch Dress Plaid consists of green double stripes over a dark blue background.

Although differing slightly from the classic Black Watch version, Black Watch Dress Plaid is reminiscent of the aforementioned tartan.
