Currier and Ives was a
printmaking firm founded in the 19th century by Nathaniel Currier and
James Merritt Ives. Although at the firm's peak they were producing
more than half a million prints, improvements in offset printing and
photoengraving evetually forced the company to close shop in 1907.
The distinctive lithographs made by Currier and Ives are now
represented at J&O Fabrics in the Steam Engine series of
fabrics. The design of Steam Engines Fabric: Train Tracks consists of
brown train tracks over a beige background.
Steam Engines Fabric: Train Tracks is
perfect for curtains, blankets, wall hangings, Hawaiian shirts,
carrying bags, bed sheets, bedspreads, crafts, pet clothing and more.
