When the Beatles arrived on American shores in 1963, their brand of Rock & Roll wasn't that far removed from the tracks laid down at Sun Studio in Memphis a few years before. By the time the Beatles were done as a group, they had taken Rock & Roll in previously unimagined directions, expanding the musical vocabulary of pop music.
The Beatles:
John Lennon, rhythm guitar/vocals
Paul McCartney, bass guitar/vocals
George Harrison, lead guitar/vocals
Ringo Starr, drums/vocals
The Beatles have even made an impact on fabric, as can be seen by the new The Beatles series of novelty cotton fabrics. Many of the fabrics show scenes from The Beatles' 1968 film Yellow Submarine. The psychedelic animated film tells the story of the band's adventures in music-loving Pepperland. The trouble begins when the music-hating Blue Meanies arrive and drain everything of color. Over the course of the film, John, Paul, Ringo and George - together forming Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band - help to restore Pepperland to its music-loving ways.
The design of The Beatles Logo Fabric shows the band's logo in red, orange, lime, fuchsia, blue, aqua and purple.
The Beatles Logo Fabric is a wonderful choice for adding a musical sensibility to your fabric projects. This designer fabric can be used to make blankets, wall hangings, Hawaiian shirts, carrying bags, bed sheets, bedspreads, crafts, quilts, pet clothing and more.
