With the imminent arrival of autumn the question arises as to to what fabrics are most appropriate for this time of year.
This blog is designed to help you decide on the ideal autumn dress fabrics. Later on we will highlight autumnal fabrics in three other categories: decorative, upholstery and novelty/quilting.
Corduroy is one of the dress fabrics most associated with the colder months beginning in the fall. Here are some of the many fine corduroy fabrics we carry; they can be used to make warm slacks, jackets and other dress items.

Next, we move on to denim. Regardless of which season it is there is always a place for denim.
Another ideal fall fabric is flannel. Our selection of printed and solid flannel fabrics can be used to make great bed sheets, blankets, lampshades and pillows. You can also use them to make garments and accessories.
Polar fleece is an essential fabric for your autumn wardrobe. This fabric will keep you warm as the temperature drops. Hats, gloves, shirts and jackets are much warmer when made with fleece. You can also make blankets, pillows and bed sheets. Robes and slippers are other items that can be made with fleece.
