Waverly debuted in 1923 as a reasonably priced alternative to the exclusive European fabrics of F. Schumacher & Co. The popularity of Waverly's fabric was such that it became one of the most recognizable names in American textiles.
By 1939, wallpapers were being produced to coordinate with the fabrics. Then, in 1951, the Waverly Home Fashions division was established in order to create ever more integrated and complete decorative schemes. Thus, the "Waverly Look" became virtually synonymous with American home decor.
Today, after more than 70 years of existence, the Waverly name continues to be associated with high quality, reasonably priced decorative fabric. These designer decorator fabrics can be found at J & O's online fabric store.
Some of Waverly's decorator fabrics have fun novelty designs that will add a little joie de vivre to your home decor.
Waverly Fabric has created many elegant floral and pastoral designs that will stand the test of time. Whether your decor is more formal or shabby chic, these prints will draw out its best aspects.
